FAQs
What’s the capacity for a day camp?
Up to 150 total people (campers + staff). Tell us your age groups and schedule so we can help map activity zones and traffic flow.
Do you have indoor and outdoor areas for rotations?
Yes—use indoor rooms for crafts, lessons, or quiet time and outdoor areas for games and group activities. We’ll include a weather backup.
Can we bring our own food or use a caterer?
Absolutely. Outside catering is allowed (licensed recommended). Sack lunches, coolers, and snack stations are welcome—please plan for food safety and cleanup within your rental window.
Is A/V available for orientations or assemblies?
We offer audio hookup (fee applies) and on-site power. Bring your own PA, projector, or mic; we’ll help with placement and power runs.
Do you provide tables and chairs for activities?
Yes—plenty of rectangular and circular tables plus standard chairs. Share your headcount and station plan; we’ll build a custom layout.
What about restrooms, water, and shade?
Restrooms are on site. We’ll help you position water stations and shade/rest areas outdoors. Bring coolers, cups, and canopy tents as needed.
What are the rules around supervision and safety?
You provide staffing, supervision ratios, first-aid supplies, and any participant waivers. We recommend a designated safety lead and check-in/check-out table. We can show the quickest routes and emergency exits.
Do you require insurance?
For youth programs, we typically request a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming Red Rocks Barn as additional insured.
How do setup, cleanup, and load-in/out work?
All setup/cleanup occur within your rental window. Ground-level access and nearby parking make load-in easy. Share your timeline and we’ll coordinate doors and power.
Are there décor or activity restrictions?
Freestanding décor and signage are welcome. Please avoid nails/screws in surfaces and no glitter/confetti indoors. Messy or water-based activities should be outdoors with protective coverings—ask us first so we can place you in the right area.
